About this tool

Send only the relevant pages of a long PDF: type the pages or ranges you want - such as 1-3, 5, 8- - and download a new PDF with just those, in that order. Or split the whole document so every page becomes its own PDF, delivered in a ZIP file. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded, and the pages keep their original quality.

How to use it

  1. 1 Choose or drop a PDF.
  2. 2 Choose 'Extract pages' and type the pages, or 'Every page separately'.
  3. 3 Tap 'Split and download'.
  4. 4 Open the new PDF or the ZIP with one PDF per page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write the pages?

Use numbers separated by commas and ranges with a hyphen: '1-3, 5' takes pages 1, 2, 3 and 5; '8-' takes page 8 to the end.

Can I change the page order?

Yes. The pages come out in the order you type them, so '3, 1, 2' puts page 3 first.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser; the file stays on your device.

Why can't my PDF be opened?

Files that need a password to open, or damaged files, cannot be read. Unlock or repair the PDF first.
