About this tool
This calculator builds the final statement of a CLT contract from your salary, dates and the reason the job ends: dismissal without cause, resignation, mutual agreement (CLT art. 484-A), dismissal for just cause or the end of a fixed-term contract. It adds the salary balance of the last month, the notice paid in lieu (30 days plus 3 per full year of service, up to 90, as in Lei 12.506) and its projection on the service time, the proportional 13th salary and vacation with the one-third bonus, and any expired vacation. INSS and income tax are taken with the 2026 tables where the law requires (salary balance and 13th); indemnities are exempt. It also estimates the FGTS you can withdraw, with the 40% or 20% fine. Everything is calculated in your browser.
How to use it
- 1 Type the gross salary and the monthly average of overtime and commissions, if any.
- 2 Enter the start date and the last day worked, and choose the reason the job ends.
- 3 Choose how the notice was handled and how many full vacation periods were never taken.
- 4 Optional: type the FGTS balance from the app for an exact fine; otherwise it is estimated.
- 5 Read the net termination pay, the FGTS to withdraw and each item of the statement.
Frequently asked questions
What do I receive when dismissed without cause?
Salary balance, notice paid in lieu (30 days plus 3 per full year, up to 90), proportional 13th salary, proportional and expired vacation with the one-third bonus, the 40% FGTS fine and the right to withdraw the FGTS balance and apply for unemployment insurance.
And if I resign?
You receive the salary balance, proportional 13th salary and vacation with the one-third bonus, and expired vacation. There is no fine and the FGTS stays in the account. If you do not work the 30 days of notice, the employer may deduct one month of salary, unless it releases you.
How does the mutual agreement work?
Under CLT art. 484-A, employer and employee agree to end the contract: half of the notice paid in lieu, a 20% FGTS fine, withdrawal of 80% of the FGTS balance and all other items in full, but no unemployment insurance.
What is the notice projection?
Notice paid in lieu counts as service time. The contract end moves forward by the notice days, which can add a month to the proportional 13th salary and vacation. The calculator shows the projected date.
Is income tax charged on the termination?
Only on the salary balance and on the 13th salary (taxed apart). Notice paid in lieu and vacation paid on termination are indemnities, exempt from INSS and income tax. The 2026 exemption up to R$ 5,000 also applies.
