How is a "word" counted?
Any run of non-space characters separated by whitespace counts as one word.
How is reading time estimated?
Word count divided by 200 words per minute, rounded. Technical text reads slower.
Is my text stored?
No. Nothing is saved or sent; closing the tab clears it.
How is the "most-used words" list built?
Common short filler words (the, and, of, and so on) are excluded, and the remaining words are ranked by how often they appear - handy for spotting repetition or checking keyword focus.
