    About this tool

How much meat do you need for a barbecue? The usual Brazilian rule is about 400 g per man, 300 g per woman and 150 g per child, a bit more when the party lasts all afternoon. Type how many men, women and children are coming, how many adults drink beer and how long the barbecue lasts, and the calculator splits the meat between beef, pork, chicken and sausage and adds the drinks, charcoal, ice and garlic bread. Every amount can be adjusted in 'Adjust amounts and cuts'. At the end, copy the shopping list or send it straight to the WhatsApp group of whoever is going to the butcher's.

    How to use it

    1. 1 Type how many men, women and children are coming.
    2. 2 Say how many adults drink beer and how long the barbecue lasts.
    3. 3 If you like, adjust the grams per person and the mix of meats.
    4. 4 Copy the shopping list or send it by WhatsApp.
