About this tool
Enter an amount, choose a source and target currency, and get the converted value using recent reference rates. A short table also shows the amount in several common currencies at once. Rates are fetched live from a public exchange-rate service when the page loads; if that service cannot be reached the tool tells you instead of showing a stale number. The conversion itself happens in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
How current are the rates?
They come from a public exchange-rate feed that updates about once a day. The result line shows the date of the rates in use. They are reference rates, not the exact price a bank or card will give you.
Does this work offline?
The math runs in your browser, but the rates have to be downloaded once. If the page cannot reach the rate service, it shows a message instead of a wrong figure.
Should I use this for accounting?
For estimates, yes. For invoices, tax or settlement, use the official rate your bank, card network or tax authority applies.
